Harris Gurny is a New York based filmmaker. He most recently produced Coup! starring Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen and Sarah Gadon. Coup! premiered at the 2023 Venice Film Festival. Harris co-produced The God Committee, starring Kelsey Grammer, Julia Stiles and Colman Domingo. The film premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Vertical. He also co-produced the upcoming documentary ASCO: Without Permission, whose EPs include Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna.

He has written and directed several short films that have screened nationally, assisted on films by Steven Soderbergh and the Safdie Brothers, and has written eight feature screenplays. Harris’ short film Day at the Zoo premiered at the 2022 Maryland Film Festival and debuted online on Omeleto in 2023, where it has been viewed over 50,000 times. In 2021, his film Mustache had its online premiere on NoBudge. His comedy screenplay Sibling Games was a Finalist in the 2023 Big Apple Screenplay Competition.
